About the Role

Under the direction of Capsugel’s Compensation Manager and Benefits Manager, the Global Comp. and Benefits Analyst will be responsible for providing support in the administration of the company’s global health and welfare benefits.  IN this role, the incumbent researches and analyzes benefits-related data and ensures company compliance as it relates to benefits administration.

What You Can Look Forward To:

  • Manages the day-to-day activities involving the global benefit plans and ensures that the plans are operating efficiently
  • Advises employees and managers on the interpretation of global benefit programs and policies
  • Advises employees on US benefits eligibility, coverage, etc.
  • Delivers new hire benefits orientations
  • Researches and responds to benefits-related questions from managers, HR staff, vendor partners and employees
  • Coordinates US annual open enrollment process, updates documents and assists in the preparation of employee communications
  • Supports the periodic benefit program reporting process, showing plan performance vs. budget and provides explanations to variance
  • Works with carriers and legal counsel to maintain plan documents, certificates, policies and agreements globally and ensures accuracy and compliance
  • Implements global changes to practices and new program offerings

What You Are Expected to Bring to the Role

  • 4-year college degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration and compensation
  • 3+ years of experience performing benefit transactions in an HRIS system, preferably SAP
  • Strong knowledge of health and welfare plans and related regulatory issues to properly administer health and welfare benefits including qualifying events status changes
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees across all organizational levels
  • Ability to properly handle and manage confidential data
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and circumstances
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, especially in MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong team player
